R.I.P Left Legs

During the first parade we learnt our basics.  At first, our ma'ams did an attire check. Then, we were asked to assemble at the 3rd floor. Over there, the squad learnt Sedia and Senang Diri. Our ma'ams made us practice till we were perfect.
The main things to take note of when doing Sedia and Senang Diri is that we have to keep our legs at 90 degrees, make sure our toes are pointing down and our timing is unified. Moreover, the ma'ams taught us that by locking our arms firmly to the side helps us to keep our balance. Plus, when our legs land on the ground, we must create a banging sound which should also sound unified. (This is when said murder of left legs occurred, OMG so much practice!)
After learning the drills, we were taught basic knots and lashes under camp craft. We learnt how to tie the bowline knot, which is mainly used for pitching tents, and slip knot, which is used as guidelines during tent pitching,
In this first parade, we realized that our squad mainly needs to improve on our sense of urgency and some parts of our attire. We really enjoyed this first session and hope that our upcoming sessions would also be the same.
