On our parade on 8/3/2017, we had a lot of good and bad points. We could have improved on a lot of things though
All of our squad mates were on time which was a big achievement for us. After falling in, we had an attire check. Some members were still not in proper attire and the ma'am's reminded us of our attire. After that, we were given 5 minutes to teach 1 of our squad mates the drills we had learnt in the previous parade as she was absent. After the 5 minutes. we practised our drills for a while. As we were not good in our drills, we were split into two groups - people who horse kicked and people who could co-ordinate well. We were given tips on how to improve. And the ma'ams helped us all A LOT!! After that, we performed the drills together as a squad and the ma'ams told us we had improved. However, as we had spent too much time on the drills, we did not have time to learn a new drill. When we went to the changing toilets to change into our slacks, we did not encourage each other and as a result, we got yelled at by Ma'am Karina. (Wah! Scary sia!) Moreover, two of our squad mates left their uniform parts behind and the uniform parts got confiscated. The ma'am's were very disappointed with us. We then had a camp craft activity and we learnt how to tie a new knot. (the figure 8 knot) After that, we had debrief and we were dismissed.
We hope that in our next parade, we will perform better. JIA YOU DESIREE! WE'LL GET YOU BACK SOON!!!
