Contradicting

Parade #5
29th March 2017

We lost a squadmate....AGAIN! And failed to claim back Desiree....haizzzz But this was one of the best parade thus far. See the contradiction?

So, anyways we did not learn any new drills but we did do some new stuff/play some new games, which were fun...in a way.

Basically, we just revised the drills we've learnt so far. (Kekanan Pusing, Kekiri Pusing, Squad Sedia, Squad Senang Diri and the newest drill, Kekanan Lurus) It was okay, I guess. I don't know...The areas for improvement were still the same as before: Lock arms, 90 degrees, posture and stuff like that. It's frustrating you know...keep getting these stuff wrong again and again and again...But I think we did quite well by the end of this parade as the Ma'ams addressed the problem in a more effective way. (or sort of) We played a game later which was called...(errr....I have no idea what it's called...)We were supposed to 'save' one of our Ma'ams from drowning by doing drills according to our requirements. We were supposed to do in pairs but as there was an odd number today, I did it in threes. Most of us managed to save our Ma'am. ( We did not, we were too busy celebrating our success in reaching the Ma'am and meeting our requirements that we forgot to 'save' her.....haiiizzz.....-facepalm-) Our squadmates were really encouraging and kept cheering us on. So, although we, as in the three of us, failed to save our Ma'am cuz of -facepalm- reason above, this game was really enjoyable. We got to bond with our squadmates (in a way) and practice our drills in a more exciting way ;) Nice!!

For the second half of the parade, we did not practice our knots as there wasn't enough time or something. Anyways, we were introduced to the endurance run. Ma'am said that she wanted to see us sweat and I was like "I'm already sweating..." (Not that I told her but in the brain so unless she has telepathic skills that no one knew, she wouldn't know...but she would know now if she's reading this...) -Dun 'LOL' me pls. When ppl 'Lol' me, I'm always at a loss as to what to say/respond- So...back to endurance run, we were supposed to run consecutively for 15 min (I think) but I guess as this was our very first endurance run, they decreased the timing to 10 min instead. It may seem like a very short time but when you're running, well...it's different. It was really exhausting, to be honest. But then again, it was really funnnnn!!!!! Like seriously, fun. Ma'am lead us in a few cheers which were funny. The verse was supposed to propel us forward, I believe. We really bonded with one another in this activity. Everyone was cheering one another although they were already out of breath, tired, exhausted, etc. It was a good team..no not team, squad spirit. Our Ma'ams also ran with us which was really nice of them. So, overall it was great!

You see why this parade was awesome???( If you dun well, nevermind then. But if you do....also, never mind 'cause what is there to do???)

BTW, we had 3 sec 3 Ma'ams as understudies. They were amazing and hilarious. They really lightened the mood and I don't know, but they just made this whole parade #5 experience really good and memorable.

During debrief, our Ma'ams( Sec 4 Ma'ams) introduced to us the "OU" stuff which made us spam our squadmates in our squad group chat asking for the Ma'am they "OU". It was a bit surprising to find out that most of us "OU" Ma'am ---. Anyways, we planned to confess to the Ma'am we "OU" on the 21st April when they step down officially. (Sort of like a gift) Anyways, then Ma'am was telling us about the tradition in Cedar NPCC that we were supposed to get a gift for each of the Ma'am when they step down. (Ma'am --- was like " you guys are so thick-skin" to Ma'am --- and Ma'am ---) hahahaha....
Anyways, we already decided what to get for each of the Ma'ams! (We messaged our Ma'ams asking for their favourite colour and the colour(s) they dislike. hahaha... we very boliao but then it also shows that we care deeply for our Ma'ams as we take in their colour preference for their gifts. See, "we're so nice" ~ quoted from WX ;) Meryl was horrified that we actually asked our Ma'ams that and she was like "If we get scolded, I will kill u 3. Then revive u and let the others have their turn killing u" hahahahhaa)

Let's just admit that our squad is weird...maybe all squads are weird....hmmm we should find out.

Anyways, I wasted more than one hour of my precious weekend on this....so byezzzzzzzz

(Did you like this blog????????????????????) ( If u say "no" ur answer is wrong if u say "yes", congrats ur answer is correct.) Bye..
