so replying to the prev post, aft ac thrs still ccc n tats q major ha
a few wks ago i went to tramp park in jb w my family friends. we kinda drifted so i was jumping alone, and im a coward i dun dare to jump frm one tramp to the other hahah everyone was doing it except me. then idk how i lost my balance and used my hand to break my fall and sprained my thumb zzz its been what, 3 wks and its not even healed yet. tbh thats my fault cus ive been using it once it bcame more mobile HAHAH! and pegging during tp for ccc selection test rip and chionging invites over the past 2/3 days legit not helping aHAHA
i feel like our invites session was rly productive hahah we played spotify and found a song that resonated within us alot HAHA i wont say what song bc i actly dk the name, but it was funny and i laughed. Idk alot of english songs bc i only listen to chinese rip if anyone has nice eng song recs pls tell me karaoke is alw so boring unless we're singing chinese songs. tb to our failed squad outing last year lol i was so bored sorry for being a party pooper guys :(
speaking of injuries during stc the Sirs n Ma'ams called bernice/kit blister girls cus they got a LOT of blisters HAHA rip, and ashok went to peg her hand smh, and alot of ppl got blisters during et :(. Recently i started doing flag erec more cus of et/ccc selection and i realised tat flag erec is vvvv fun i like flag erec alot but i cant raise the flag properly omg the first time i tried it was such a fail haizz :( and we tried out the new tent sheets tat Sir got. theyre v nice and green and aesthetically pleasing but theyre super inflexible and u cant pitch 2 corners at a time sksksk. speaking of tent sheets tat day during marking day we went for squad outing and we saw tent sheets (ground sheets) being used to cover smt at sentosa AHHAH and we all got sunburnt. very chaoda. then we were otw home and saw a Ma'am at the vivo escalator. we were gg down n she was cming up LOL. the next day we sortof had bonding w the unit and they wanted to play mrt and we were all like oH nO we are all injured. all of us were whining abt sunburns the whole day. Then the next day i ate popcorn chicken and fell sick immediately after. during the deepavali rangoli programme jess brought a whole tub of aloe vera gel and we were jus applying and sliding across to other ppl frm other class (eg zimo)
So i actly drifted alot frm what i actly wanted to say.
Ac is arnd the corner (literally, its next thurs). I know we're all stressed out n stuff esp cus this year is gna be very different, and we're no longer campers but CLs. It seems like so long, yet so short ago that we were freaking out and gg for our first ac. now we freak out over v different reasons. idk why i went to read our past Ma'ams blog jn and i saw a post abt our sec 1 ac cf and i suddenly got all the memories and realised how much time flies. jn when we were doing invites we had a few throwbacks to clc and realised tat we rly matured alot over the span of 2 years, (i typed a cringe emo para here but deleted hehe). i trust that we will all do our best for ac'19. No matter what happens, we must deal with the situation with a cool head, even if we're actually panicking inside, bc panicking nv solves anthg. if u look at it this way, when someone panics, the panic will spread and more ppl will start panicking which lowers our ability to deal with the situation. but if we're cool, we will be able to think logically with a mind less clouded by emotions fear, frustration and panic, and deal w it. Let us also take our mistakes in stride, because afterall, we are humans, and to err is human. there is a saying, failure is the mother of success. likewise, only through mistakes will we learn. hence, we should take our mistakes in stride. Do not forget the mistake, but do not let it affect our emotions negatively either. i believe that we can pull through this together!
i feel very old. i was a cringy sec 1 and am now a weird sec 3 gg on sec 4. Also, i think I Want It That Way is iconic. We heard it during obs alot (like, my manjusri watchmates, as in the guys, were singing it very loudly in the toilet heheheh, and during stc we had a thing for that song too, and since STC we've been hearing it every where heheheheh) ik like 2 verses and the chorus cus of STC lmao are yall proud of me your resident chinese song listener learnt i want it that way and old town road in a day! every time i type i want it that way, i sing it in my head zz. and the HEEYYYYY in old town road cracks me up HAHAHA
that day me zimo n sharon stayed in sch aft ac prep cus we were v bored n everyone had to go home, and we were very high on old town road and whatsapp meme stickers EHEHHEE our squad is a meme
